Q. What impact has PEI had on its members?
-We have learned that approximately 1/3 of the barriers present at intake are eliminated within three months. This is especially true for members who consistently participate in the program. This is an important finding considering how difficult it is to maintain job when other barriers are in the way, such as child care, transportation or problems at home.

-Over a six month period approximately 60 individuals obtained jobs through PEI.
